INTERMEDIATE	Any carver who has not won at least five 1st place awards at the intermediate level or a best of show award at any woodcarving competition.
ADVANCED	Any advanced, professional, or other expert carver with a record of successful competition; and anyone of any skill level who wishes to compete at the highest level. Includes carvers who provide professional instruction on wood carving.
